Student Organizations Policy
Student organizations represent the student body and the University. The success of student organizations depends largely upon how sincere students are in their commitments to work with fellow students, advisors, and the University's administration in planning, promoting, and holding well-organized activities.

Greek Life Code of Conduct - NPHC Organizations
This Greek Life Code of Conduct governs the actions of NPHC, Greek-lettered organizations at Southern University and A&M College. Furthermore, the Office of the Dean of Students may create procedures and standards to implement this policy and any other rules and standards. The Dean of Students (or designee) has the right at any time to exercise his or her authority in regard to any Greek-letter organization when deemed appropriate. Should any person wish for an interpretation of any provision of this policy, that party should contact the Dean of Students and the Dean of Students will render an opinion as to the inquiry. The interpretation by the Dean of Students will be final.

Membership Intake Process (MIP) - NPHC Organizations
The purpose of the Membership Intake Manual is to provide NPHC, Greek-lettered organizations, their advisors, and aspiring members with a source of information regarding membership intake for Greek-letter organizations at Southern University and A&M College. Chapter advisors, the Office of Student Life, and the Office of the Dean of Students work synonymously to ensure a successful and positive experience for all individuals involved. In order for the Office of the Dean of Students to assist chapters with the membership intake process and avoid potential problems, chapters must adhere to the following guidelines regarding membership intake.
